The hallways are crowded as a response to Nebula attempting something peculiar on the bedroom doors. As a result, the other Xamples are having touble leaving their rooms.

Suddenly, a door cracks down the middle partially revealling the inside of Techk's room, prompting Nebula to lower his head and say Aww crap.

That morning after finishing some reading up on bio-mechanical physics for his research, Techk attempted to leave his room to go get ready for classes. When he approached his door to open it and turned the handle. Instead of pushing it open like he expected to he wound up with his face smushed up against the door itself. "What the hell... Oh, someone wants to try and keep me from grading a lackluster paper eh? Not today!" He grumbled to himself as he took a step back and prepped his sonic cannon. "Decibel range at non-lethal levels. Firing." was chirped in binary before he fired a blast at the door, causing it to crack down the middle from the impact.

Slithering his head and torso out of the thin crack he digs clawed hands into the door to pull himself the rest of the way out. Looking around he spots Nebula having heard him when the door broke. "Hey, what the hell man? You just made me wreck my damn door. Wanna tell me what this is all about?" he called to Nebula as he finished getting out of his room.

Shuriken would get ready to go grab a morning coffee saying "Ugh . . . Great its morning. Maybe after I am done getting a coffee Cyclops will let me go train in the Danger Room again. I mean he just said to go to my room. He said nothing about me sleeping in it." When he tried to open his door however Shuriken would notice that it was stuck. Shuriken would then say to himself "Oh what fresh new hell is this. If it is Techk messing with me he is a dead man . . . robot . . . thing. Fine then. Ill get out another way. I just hope I wont have to pay for the damages." Shuriken would ready his weapon and with one strike of his adamantium laced sword he cleaved through the metal doors of the Utopia bedrooms. Shuriken would walk into the hallway noticing Techk and Nebula as well as a small crowd who were wondering what the racket was about including Armor, Surge, Ink and Warlock (Technarch). Shuriken would put his sword away and wander over there and say "Ok whats going on now. Is this one of your pranks Techk? cause if so then you can pay for the door that I had to break just to leave my room. That is after I turn your head into a pancake for stopping me from getting my morning coffee." Shuriken would crack his knuckles and stare at Techk who would immediately notice that Shuriken spent another night awake knowing Cyclops sent him to his room and that this was the 8th day he had stayed awake in a row. Nebula would notice the bags under Shurikens eyes as well.

Sorry man, it was Beast's idea. I just didn't see the need to go to the danger room for a door. Nebula would say in apology. He would look around to see people staring at him then turn around in embarrassment and stand up.

He said that if I fuse a portal with a physical catalyst, aka a doorway, the portal should stay open by itself.

Techk turned to Shuriken and waved at him dismissively. "Yeah, right, as if I'd get between someone and their coffee. We're both coffee nuts here you're just the only one who can benefit from it."

Turning back to Nebula Techk cocked his head to the side. "So if I am to understand correctly, the goal here is to create a permanent two way point of transmission?" He said, analyzing the situation given the description he was given. "Interesting. Very interesting. We could then in theory have a LOT larger of a task force than what we can fit in the bird on a mission if need be. Granted that in itself is a double edged sword unless it's several highly trained squads each given specific objectives separated from the other. If this theory pans out Nebula we might be able to do rapid deployment and extraction of forces thanks to you!"

He clapped his hands together and two symbols appeared on his blank slate of a face for a moment: =D

"Now then, let's discuss any issues you've had and any drawbacks involved with this. I'm always up for seeing what new applications a power can have!" He gleefully stated, having completely forgotten about his door for the moment.

Nebula would examine the damage to the door and point it out to Techk.
Well the main problem is that I have no idea how, to fuse portals to solids I mean. You learned that the hard way.

Examining the damage to the door, Nebula began to show concern. He then turned to Techk with a half-asleep tone. Maybe I do need to use the danger room.

Shuriken would respond to Techks remark by saying "Well it is not like you have not earned the reputation. You pull so many pranks on the staff and students, and show no respect to a persons personal property that I expect anything that goes wrong here that's not an attack to just be the results of another prank you set up." Shuriken would smirk after he said that.

Shuriken would then look on as the conversation between Techk and Nebula went on with a raised eyebrow as he said "I was only taught high school science so I know little about the science between this and probably won't be able to help here." Shuriken would stand there curious to see if Nebula could actually pull this off after hearing the possibilities it had.

The rest of the students would disperse save for Warlock who would say in his typical technarch way "Self has analyzed the damage to the door. Query Subject, Should friend Nebula not use less force on the door for the experiment to show successful results? The power friend Nebula used caused the door to crack and break before the process could be done due to the door being unable to handle said power level initially. This was compounded by friend Techk destroying the door the rest of the way with his powers. Less initial force and no interference would yield more possibility of success as he would gradually progress to his normal power output instead of using normal force initially." Warlock would stand there looking at the group after speaking.

((Sorry about warlocks crazy dialogue trust me after reading 100 quotes from the guy this is generally how he speaks. there are still a few odd lines that I still do not understand I'm guessing you need to be a science major to understand all of his dialogue  Wink  -Cough- Peter Parker reference -Cough- ))

Shuriken would look at Warlock and say "I think I got most of that. He is saying build up into the normal force you use for your portals and start gently at first." Shuriken would stand there waiting to see the results of this new info.

Nebula would remember that Beast said this this was also a possible power given the way your powers were and as such was unsure if Nebula would even possess the power.

Techk would examine the damage to the door and notice that as Warlock said the door initially cracked from Nebulas power input and was later torn open by Techks sonic cannon. Techk would also notice that the power started by absorbing into the door and then rippled back towards the door frame affecting it through the door hinges and the door locking mechanism and had it had a few seconds more may have worked. Techk would realize that the power while indeed possible was a balancing act that required discipline and focus as too strong the power would break the door and too softly and it would just result in wasted energy for no results. Techk would notice severe cracking on the door frame itself and realize that it would need to be overhauled before he would be able to get a new door for his room.

((stay away from bright fonts man that shit's hard to read))

Nebula would listen to Warlock and nod. yeah that's a good know warlockfriend. But it's not like self can measure his own force output and scale it. Trying to eyeball this is gonna be a real bitch.

He would pick up his possessions and move to the danger room. Well I'll continue this where noone gets hurt, and yet where everyone gets hurt. I think I'll try it with just the frame this time. Oh and Mr. Karthan, I might have a new design idea for you if things go according to plan.
