Marvel Zombies 6

((Warning this mission contains gratuitous violence and gore. For the squeamish you may want to avoid this mission.))

((Required: Any Xamples members.))

((Other Marvel characters may be added later provided everyone agrees with that. Would actually like to hear what you guys think of that.))

((This is an event that will go on from now until the end of November or until there are 3 members of the Xamples remaining alive. There will be a few differences between this universe and the main universe. 1st is the Great Tragedy event (and subsequently the crime war as well) never happened meaning that your team met under different circumstances. Nyako was brought in as the last team member when cerebra found her and was picked up in San Francisco by wolverine and his team. The teams 1st mission was not to Mt Wundagore but to deal with juggernaut (Cain Marko) meaning that Colossus is not juggernaut in this universe. The Xamples have been formed for about the same time and their relationships have not really changed.))

((this will be set some time after everything the Xamples have done so far changes I will prompt you on things that your character will know in this universe but keep that in mind.))

Earth 53466

Day 1

The Xamples awake around 11:00 am to see a sunny Sunday with white clouds outside. The team would hear an announcement from Emma Frost telepathically saying "Announcement to all students and teachers lunch is ready for you in the Mess Hall."

Shuriken would hear the announcement from Emma and say "Well. She is as annoying as ever. Yawn!" He would rub the back of his neck and say "Another long night without sleep and coffee. ugh well can't be helped." Shuriken would get himself up with a "Uuugghh! Ok! well I better get some food and coffee." Shuriken would then get up and get dressed afterwards he would head off taking his sword with him to lunch.

Firefly having been awake for a while is annoyed by the invasion of privacy saying "Does she have to do that." but decides to go and get lunch. On her way out she decides to go get her back pack planning on going to the store and getting more candy later for emergencies.

Nebula, having just woken up and gotten dressed would yawn and say yeah, save me a spot. He'd rush out into the hall with his blindfold still in his hand saying hey to whoever he came across on the way down to the Mess Hall.

[Deciltor]

Techk looked over at the clock as he heard a commotion going on out in the halls, realizing it was around 11am. Placing a hand over his faceplate with an audible sigh, he leaned back in his chair and away from the computer screen for the first time in about 9 hours. "Well, guess I should go help the other staff wrangle some of the rowdy ones as usual. Can't forget I've gotta get my stuff done for tomorrow's class too." He reached under his desk and produced an old looking briefcase while he muttered to himself. "Something tells me I'm not going to get any peace around here today, I think I'll head over to the storage locker and finish up my lesson plan for the week there this afternoon."

Setting the briefcase down in the middle of the room, he opened it up revealing a keypad and containment system. He hit the recall button and stood back. His room's contents, the bookshelf, chair, computer and desk, bed, and all of the contents of which seemed to begin wavering and melting to the floor. The melting furniture and items flowed toward and into the briefcase's containment unit until his room was bare and empty. Closing the briefcase he picked it up and headed to his door chuckling to himself. "Avalon, you did me a real favour, now I can take the comforts of home anywhere and be able to work at peak efficiency."

Changing into his standard human form he headed out the door just in time to see Nebula run by. Giving him a wave as he went. Walking lazily to the cafeteria he notice some of the younger students running in the hall past him, one of them seemed distressed and the one behind them seemed to have a look in their eye that screamed bully. With a quick flick of his foot and tendril shot out and tripped the second kid as they were passing him. A smile to himself and a short walk later he was almost there.

Typhoon looked up, opening his eyes to the bright sky above him. He had slept in the tree outside after having trained the night prior. He had enjoyed the cool breeze and subtle crickets which had lulled him to sleep.

He would raise his arm abroad to block out the blinding rays. "Guess I overslept." Typhoon would chuckle a bit groggy from such a long sleep.

Nyako would continue her deep cat like sleep until someone were to wake her...completely ignoring the telepathic call. Morning's were not her thing, even when its 11am... just like any feline, she can sleep for hours and hours. It would be up to her roommate (Necelis) to do the honors of waking her & hopefully not get scratched (), depending if her beloved roommate is still in the room at all.

And if not, perhaps her new boyfriend will risk it xP

[Dusk]

Necelis had always been an early riser and had just unlocked the door to the room when she had got the telepathic message. She pushed the door open to find her roommate still asleep from the night before. Placing her violin case down in it's proper place, she began to gently nudge Nyako. She opened her mouth to mouth some words even though know sound actually emitted from them. She felt her cheeks flush realizing she had forgotten the fact she couldn't talk for the briefest of moments. Instead, she would send a telepathic message of her own to Nyako.

"Get up! We're being called to the mess hall. Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!"

Necelis clenched her hands into fists and shut her eyes in concentration as she felt tensed her body in repeating the last two words of her telepathic message until she got a response out of her.

((For this post ill go by order then area as you are not all in the same hall. As you guys filter into each other however i will establish that so some of you may need to read other paragraphs.))

Firefly and Shuriken

As firefly would come out she would see several Utopia residents already out of their rooms heading to the Mess Hall including Box (Madison Jeffries), Namor, and Jubilee. The others would not notice her but Jubilee would walk alongside her and say in her typical cheery demeanor "Hey your Firefly right? Nice to meet you! My names Jubilee. I just wanted to welcome you to Utopia. Have you been enjoying your first week here." While she talked Firefly would notice the sharp fangs of a vampire showing. Jubilee would then begin speaking again after a pause and say "You know, you and pixie look very similar. I almost thought you were her for a second. But you seem more chipper then she has been since the incident in Limbo." Firefly would notice Shuriken up ahead walking with his katana in tow.

Nebula and Techk

Nebula would see 6 other students and teachers who were also heading to the mess hall both in front and behind him including Rockslide, Ernst, Ink, Dust, Juggernaut (Colossus) and Magik. Hearing Nebula's callings of hi Rockslide would say "Hey Nebula. how has training been for ya." , Ernst would say "Hello" while trying to avoid Rockslide , Ink would say "Hey." , Dust would say "Good morning." Juggernaut (Colossus) would turn over to Nebula and raise his hand in hello seemingly busy talking to Magik who decides to turn her head away from Juggernaut (Colossus) and nod. as Techk came out he would see Nebula saying hi at other people that he saw as he walked right by Techk. Techk and Nebula would hear a conversation between Ernst and Rockslide, Ernst would say "Leave me alone Rockslide." Rockslide would then say "I just want to know why you refuse to try the test to become an X-Man?" Dust would say "Stop Rockslide!" Rockslide would turn around and reply "It is only a question." as he went to talk again while the group walked by Techk Rockslide would be tripped by Techks tendril with a "Hey!" landing face first and crumbling to pieces. After reconstituting himself he would turn to Techk realizing it was him involved saying "What was that for? I did nothing wrong!" Rockslide would watch Techk walk past him Ernst saying "Thank You." to him as he passed by her.

Typhoon

Typhoon would wake up on the roof of one of the towers ((sorry there are no trees on utopia)) and realize that it was time for lunch.

((Sorry I cant make your character go to lunch myself so you will have to do it as of now though you will be late arriving to the mess hall.))

Nyako and Necelis

Nyako would sleep in while Necelis woke up early. Necelis would start sending her telepathic message which would eventually wake up Nyako. The 2 would realize that by the time Nyako woke up several students had passed by. They also realized that they may be late arriving for lunch but would still make it in time to get some food.

((Again I can't make your characters get going to the mess hall. You will have to do that yourself.))

Firefly, Nebula, Techk, Shuriken

As everyone filtered into the stairs to get to the mess hall on the 1st floor Nebula Techk Firefly and Shuriken would all meet up Shuriken would continue to go towards the mess hall as they all reached the 1st floor. The group would finally end up in the mess hall where a full buffet of food was prepared for all the staff and students. The group would notice 5 staff and students already in the mess hall including Rogue, Gambit, Storm, Surge, and Transonic. The group would know by now that a line is usually formed to get your food like with all buffets. They would notice the following dishes were available today were Bacon, Sausages, Scrambled Eggs, Peperoni Pizza, Waffles, Corn, Peas, Carrots, Chicken Wings, Mashed Potatoes, Sliced Beef, Pulled Pork with Buns, Garden Salad, Fruit Salad, French Toast, Cheese Sandswiches, Captain Crunch Cereal, Lucky Charms Cereal, Shreddies Cereal, Cherry Danishes, Pancakes with Maple Syrup, Leftover Egg Rolls, Leftover Fried Rice, Leftover Garlic Spareribs, Coffee, Tea, Orange Juice, and Milk. There would be sugar and whitener for the coffee and tea and ketchup, mustard, relish, butter and barbeque sauce for the food on a table nearby the buffet table.

Shuriken would grab a coffee with 2 sugar and 1 whitener, 1 slice of peperoni pizza, carrots, peas, 2 slices of french toast, and an egg roll. He would sit at an empty table and start eating alone.

The Radio was playing in the background the song seemed to be Rockwells - Somebody's Watching Me mid song with the keytar solo just starting up.

As Jubilee says the 1st sentence Firefly says "Y . . . Yes. I'm Firefly. Nice to meet you." After Jubilee says her 2nd sentence she says "Oh I haven't met Pixie yet. We really look that similar. Well I gotta go. I'm looking for my friend Shuriken. Bye Jubilee."  

The 1st thing Firefly does when she gets into the mess hall is grab a plate and 2 mini bowls and go over to the buffet. She would grab 4 Chicken Wings, 1 scoop of Mashed Potatoes with Butter on top, a bowl of Lucky Charms Cereal with Milk in it, a bowl of Fruit Salad with Maple Syrup on top, and a Cherry Danish. She would grab a glass of milk to drink with it all. She then sits beside Shuriken saying "Hello" to Shuriken. She then happily starts eating her lunch.

Typhoon would walk across the roof and stand just above where the cafeteria would be near the upper vent. "Whelp...always wanted to do this."

Typhoon would fold his arms and turning himself into air and fall through the vent to the cafeteria below reappearing in the middle of the cafeteria, hopefully landing on his feet.

(if he lands of his feet) Typhoon would stand up triumphantly and declare, "Nailed it!"

(if he fails to land properly) Typhoon would stumble to his feet and brush himself off, "Well we can't all get it right the first time can we?"

[Nightmare696]

Nyako would mumble words in her sleep as she rolled around with Necelis sending her those telepathic messages. Finally she lifted her head, one hand shielding her eyes from the light coming through the window.

"What..time is it?" Nyako would mutter as she looked at the clock to see it being 11:00AM.
"It's only eleven? damn school stuff... i still could of had soo much time to sleep." Nyako sat up, her fur being a bit messy and hair, her face looking quite zombiefied as well. She slowly made her way to the bathroom in her pajama pants and and old tank top to wash up, she brushed her teeth and brushed her hair and fur.

"Alright...lets get this over with so i can go back to sleep." Nyako said, not bothering to change into any new clothes. She would walk down to the cafeteria and meeting area with Necelis.

Nebula would Load up with mashed potatoes, corn, and chicken wings, perhaps a little too much ((maybe prompting someone to say something)).

He'd say hi to everyone as he passed by, but then stop at storm. Ororo! how've you been girl? I haven't seen you in forever.
After collecting his food, and find a seat near the other Xamples.

[Deciltor]

Techk shrugged at Rockslide's protest "Running in the halls is prohibited. Your running was causing Ernst to run. I halted both prohibited activities by stopping you. Since you weren't listening to other complaints, I decided to take a more physical and proactive method."

He continued into the cafeteria. Grabbing a tray he collected a cubic inch of everything available, and 30 forks. leaning against a wall near his team he begins eating each individual item of food to test his taste buds, making odd faces once in a while. "Huh, Still needs some testing." He mutters to himself as he begins chewing on a fork.

[Dusk]

'You sleep too much already....' Necelis chided as she watched Nyako enter the bathroom. Being somewhat of a neat freak, she surveyed Nyako's half of the room and shut her eyes. Inhaling, she adjusted Nyako's bedsheets, fluffed her pillow and reorganized Nyako's clothes. Grabbing her backpack, she slung it over her shoulder. Utilizing their mirror, she adjusted her bangs and clothes.

'Let's go!' Necelis telepathed to Nyako as the two waled towards the mess hall. 'I hope there's still croissant's left...'

((Ok given how this mission has been progressing I have decided to indefinitely extend this mission however I will be posting on this mission whenever I see that everyone has posted on it or if its been a month and no one has posted on it.))

Firefly

Jubilee would look questioningly at Firefly when she ran off to see this Shuriken character she mentioned saying "I wonder who this Shuriken could be. Guess he is one of the other new students."

Firefly would grab her food and go sit with Shuriken who would look at her food and say with a raised eyebrow "Maple Syrup on Fruit Salad? Why not just get pancakes?" Shuriken would finish up his pizza after his questions. Just then Jubilee would come and sit with the 2 students beside Firefly and say "Hey this must be that Shuriken you mentioned." She would then lean in to mumble to Firefly saying "So what is he to you. Do you have a crush on him." Shuriken would hear what Jubilee mumbled and would give a glare to her while taking a sip of his coffee.

Typhoon

Typhoon would convert himself into air and make it to the cafeteria landing on his feet in front of Shuriken's and Firefly's table. Shuriken would make a remark saying "Was that really necessary?" He would then take a sip of his coffee and get to eating his leftover egg roll. Typhoon could tell it was from yesterdays dinner.

Nebula

Nebula would manage to collect his food from the buffet and as he walked past and said hello to Storm she would say "Fine Nebula. I am doing fine. I presume you are doing well also." She would wait to hear his response.

As Nebula would come to the table that holds the Xamples with all his food Shuriken would just say "I'm not taking the heat from Cyclops if you waste food." taking another bite out of his egg roll after his statement.

Techk

Techk would see Rockslide scratching his head realizing that he may have been speed walking to keep up with Ernst.

Techk would manage to get to the table the Xamples were all eating at. Shuriken would notice that Techk was eating food as well and would say "I still don't understand why you feel the need to eat when you no longer need it." Shuriken would then drink another sip of his coffee and finish his egg roll.

Nyako and Necelis

Nyako would manage to get ready to go to lunch while Necelis would clean Nyakos side of the room and get herself ready as well. The 2 would head out to the mess hall seeing Match who was also running late run by them saying "Better hurry if you guys want to eat. The food tends to go fast around here with so many mouths to feed."

All

As the rest of the student body entered the Mess Hall Nyako and Necelis would notice the rest of the team sitting at a table together. Typhoon, Nyako and Necelis would notice that there was not much food left and that they would have to grab whatever was left. They noticed that what remained 4 strips of Bacon, 2 Sausages, 6 scoops of Scrambled Eggs, 3 Peperoni Pizza Slices, 6 Waffles, 5 scoops of Corn, 3 scoops of Peas, 3 scoops of Carrots, 6 Chicken Wings, 2 scoops of Mashed Potatoes, 3 slices of Sliced Beef, 2 scoops of Pulled Pork with 2 Buns, 2 servings of Garden Salad, 2 servings of Fruit Salad, 4 French Toast Slices, 6 Cheese Sandswiches, 4 servings of Captain Crunch Cereal, 4 servings of Lucky Charms Cereal, 6 servings of Shreddies Cereal, 2 Cherry Danishes, 5 Pancakes with Maple Syrup, 5 Leftover Egg Rolls, 6 scoops of Leftover Fried Rice, and 6 Leftover Garlic Spareribs along with some Coffee, Tea, Orange Juice, and Milk. Match would go up and grab 1 slice of pizza leaving only 2 left, 4 chicken wings leaving only 2 left, 2 scoops of corn leaving only 3 left, a cherry danish leaving only 1 left and a cup of orange juice.

The radio would finish the song and the radio dj would begin speaking saying "That was Rockwell's - Somebody's Watching Me. Hope you guys and girls are enjoying your Halloween Weekend. I'm Ryan Coleman here hoping that the creatures that bump in the night don't come knocking at your door this Halloween. For the occasion I will be playing some halloween classics and some songs that will truly put a chill down your spine. 1st up we have a classic from way back in the 60's that is an anthem for all the ghouls and ghosts that wander on halloween. That's right I'm talking about none other than The Monster Mash by Bobby Pickett. So get your hands ready to start mashing cause the graveyard smash is coming." Just then the song would begin to play on the radio Techk, Firefly and Nyako would hear it the loudest.

[Deciltor]

Techk shrugged at Shuriken's comment responding with "I don't know, somehow I guess it makes me still feel somewhat human. No sleep, no real stable body shape, a field of vision best described as "complete" on 3-8 spectrums... Eating reminds me I'm not just a machine. Or wasn't just a machine, depending on your philosophical standpoint on my state of being. Plus It's something to test and improve upon and design, that was a large part of job my at the Stark Tower before the incident."

Looking over at Nebula with a raised eyebrow and a bemused smirk, he couldn't help but tease him with the obvious M*A*S*H reference. "Jeez Nebula, you keep doing that at meals and I'm going to have to start calling you Radar. Guess that'd make me Hawkeye or Trapper for pointing it out." He sighs wistfully before adding in a lower tone, "Man that was a good show, I've gotta watch it again sometime."

Looking up at the speaker when the DJ came on and said his piece, Techk had to chuckle and shake his head at what he said last. "This guy seems to be trying a little bit too hard today."

Typhoon would laugh at the remark, "It wasn't necessary, but whats life without a little fun?" Typhoon would go grab his food; He grabbed alot of vegetables through 1 serving of green and fruit salads. He also grabbed 2 of the pizza slices. Typhoon would go sit down next to Shuriken, "You should let lose a little. I should know, your always so tense when we train. I'm afraid you'll accidentally kill me one of these days." Typhoon would laugh for a moment, but then fall silent as he realized what he said could actually probably happen.

Oh, yeah as good as it gets. Nebula would say to storm partially under his breath as he looked around.

Nebula would begin eating his breakfast before being harassed about his oversized portions. As he replied he would wave a piece of chicken around at the people he was talking to.

(to Shuriken) you won't have to, when have you ever seen me not finish a meal when it isn't being punched out of my mouth? Techk!?

(to Techk) Nebula would state in between bites: heh heh... Ya nicknames aside... if you forget my real name... it's written on you in chicken grease, enjoy that... Nebula would grab a fork from Techk's plate. This right here... is why we can't have nice things... we're getting cheap silverware... from now on...

(to Nyako and Necelis) Nebula would take a short break from eating to wave the girls over almost hurriedly.

When Jubilee asked Firefly if she had a crush on him Firefly would say sarcastically "Yes because every time a girl runs off to meet a guy cause she is late! It means that she automatically has a crush on him! They can't you know be friends or anything!" She then goes on to say in a nicer tone "I actually just see Shuriken as my best friend. He was the first one I met when I got here."

When Shuriken asked about the maple syrup on the fruit salad she makes big sad googly eyes and says in a fake sad voice "But its yummy and I need the sugar." before going back to happily eating her food.

As each person approached thier table she would wave her hand at them and say in an overly bright tone "Good morning Typhoon!!!" "Good morning James!!!" "Good morning Techk!!!" When she noticed Nyako and Necelis she would wave at them and say in the same bright tone "Good morning Nyako and Necelis!!! Come sit with us ok!!!"

After Shuriken is mean to everyone Firefly would end up saying to him "Well someone woke up in a good mood this morning! Would you like some more coffee!"

Just noticing that Techk is eating the forks she would say in an uncertain tone "Um . . .  Techk? . . . I don't think your supposed to be eating the forks. I think Cyclops will have something to say about that."

After Typhoon would mention how Shuriken might "accidentally kill him one of these days." She says in a tone where its hard to tell if she is joking or not. "Don't worry! He won't kill you till he wants to!"

After Nebulas talk about needing cheap silverware Firefly would say in the same not sure if serious tone "Most likely we will be eating off of plastic forks and knives before we know it!"

Firefly would then continue to eat her lunch after conversing with everyone.
