[Dusk]

History:
Origins
Long before recorded history there was a king named Arma Dagon who had the power to control the element of Darkness. Using this power, he soon was driven mad as everyone even in his own beloved kingdom feared him. Some say this is why man has always had a natural fear of the dark.

Childhood (0-12)

Eric had known he had powers for quite a while. Even as a child he was cunning and smart when he heard on the news that mutants were being imprisoned and hated. It was obvious to him that he wouldn't mention this to anyone not even his parents. His powers were rather easy to hide anyway. What was more disturbing was that he began hearing voices in his head and these voices would speak to him in the oddest of moments. It was soon that he realized he was no mutant as the school's across the USA tested children for the X-gene and it was apparent that Eric wasn't one. Then he wondered, what was he?

Teenage Years (13-17)
Eric was an intelligent young man and got through school much faster than normal children. He had a perfect grade point average in highschool and finished it by the age most children began it. He decided to join the military shortly afterwards and by the age of 15, Eric entered Special ops training. By 17, he was a ruthless killing machine that specialized in covert operations that specialized in stealth and he had an incredible understanding of linguistics and most of earth’s languages.

Military service (18-19)
Eric had developed quite the reputation for himself as he looked promising as a fine solider. However, in his final military mission, Eric used his power in order to save his fellow comrade from being killed. This was noted as Eric was put to trial for treason as it was strictly forbidden for a mutant to join the military. Eric pointed out that he was not a mutant and did not have the x gene. However, the jury didn’t buy it as he was sentenced to life in prison. Eric made a daring escape from prison not willing to live his live behind stone walls. He ran and began operating as a mercenary under the name Dusk.

Present (20-   )
After Eric went to gather enough money which wasn’t hard as many clients found him to be the perfect Hitman. He was conniving, ingenious, had special military training and not to mention had supernatural powers. Having a rather impressive resume, he had no issues finding clients. About a year’s haul, it gave him just about everything he needed, money for a fake passport, a small apartment in the city, living expenses and then some. Now Dusk works two jobs, one being a waiter at a local steak & seafood 4 star restaurant. The other is being an assassin for the organization known as SHIELD. There is where he received his high quality weaponry. He doesn’t really do any big jobs for SHIELD, he’s seen more as the janitor to do the dirty work and cleaning up the mess but, it pays well known the less.

Personality:
Dusk has two very different persona's its difficult to say which one masks the other. In broad daylight, Eric is quite friendly, humble and quite gentle. However, once he puts on that mask, he's a completely different individual. He's cold calculative and never gets emotional. Dusk is always fixed on getting his objectives done and doesn't really care to what means his purpose of them once he's finished. One would hesitate to categorize him as a villain or a hero. Its quite interesting as he doesn't seem greedy, or selfish or doesn't hold any contempt for those who do good. His motives are always unclear and he doesn't really know them himself. Only caring about surviving one day at a time without dying or going insane is his main objective at the moment. For what its worth, he doesn't want to let his darker side take him over and try and destroy the world but, it seems he also has little interest in protecting it.

SAMPLE RP
On the 86th floor in a high rise skyscraper, a group of men in suits sat at a table. The air in the room was heavy with the clouds of tobacco as sound of light chuckles filled the room. Beautiful women in proactive outfits poured each man at the table their choice of poison. Their seemed to be light music playing but, one could hardly tell over the coarse voice of a particularly portly man who sat at the table as he bit down on his tobacco. His mouth reeked of the spirits he drank tonight as the creases under his eyes reflected the numbers of years he had lived. The disgusting pig of a man was celebrating his acquittal from many different charges. He owned a prosperous diamond company and was the head of a criminal organization. He had been alleged with many felonious acts but, he always had enough dough to pay off the prosecutor or the judge. While he sat there in his chair, sipping fine wine and boasting there were so many people he had steeped on and dispose of to get where he is today. However, these weren't the reasons why he had to die, this man was going to supply great amount of funds to HYDRA. A despicable human being but, his killer could care less as long as he finished his objective.

A man in black stood on a rooftop in the glimmer in the moonlight, his eyes closed as the wind tossed his air. In one hand, he had a white mask that had a slight smile on it and a jagged lightning bolt under one eye. Before, he opened his grey eyes he put on his white mask. As the clock struck 12, without a moment's hesitation, he leaned forward and plummeted through the air. The wind was crashing against him as he descended from the night sky heading toward the pavement. Reaching towards his belt, he pulled out a nearly invisible black wire which he had wrapped around his hand and fastened to the top of the roof. taking a quick breath of the cool night air, he planted his feet against the building as he felt his boots grinding against the side of the building. He kicked off of it and giving him enough momentum, he slammed both of his feet along with his body into the room where his target was shaken from his drunken stupor. With the hard glass shattering like ice, the ladies dressed in their outfits left screaming as the man in black with the white masked began to rise from a crouched position holding a long and deadly looking knife in his hand. He tossed the knife into the overhead lights blackening the room. Bodyguards made their appearance as they quickly dove at the assassin. The first one came in swinging with both arms as the masked man rather coolly dodged his attacks by stepping back as it seemed he was one move ahead of the thug. The masked killer tossed a knife from his belt out if its sheath as he jumped forward twisting his body before catching the knife in a reverse grip only to cut the man deep into his thigh. The man growled in pain as he doubled over only to be kicked into the other henchmen. Running forward, the killer made quick work of all three henchmen by slitting their throats. Standing rather still as the room grew in panic, the target desperately tried to make it to the elevator as several of the men in suits pulled out their machine guns and fired away at the masked man.

The killer fell to the ground as he dropped on his side a part of his mask damaged from the bullets. He lay their for about a minute before the men began to lower their guard. The moment a bell sounded revealing that the elevator had finally made it. The sound was so startling all of them turned back to point their guns at the empty elevator. Before they had a chance to all turn around, the masked killer stood up as the bullets fell off of his bullet proof jacket, still groaing as he still felt the impact of each bullet. Raising his right arm he grabbed something from the air and with great effort, he pulled his right arm downward towards the floor putting his back into it. Suddenly, all of the men in the room except his target were hoisted into the air by their necks.

The target screamed as he watched his colleagues as he crawled away into the elevator begging for his life. The moon shone down into the room as it's light made the wires that hung the men glisten revealing them and a roaming shadow that did not have an owner until it rejoined the killer's shadow. The shadow took the string from his belt and ensnared all of the target's men as it was invisible in the dark room while the killer lay playing dead when in reality he was plotting their deaths. The target consumed in fear as he yelled. "MONSTER! FREAK!" He said as the killer let his victims body hang a bit longer before dropping them on the ground. He retrieved his second knife as he slowly made his way to the elevator.

The target frantically pressed the closed door button as he also frantically pressed any floor but this one. The killer made a dash for the doors as he was just a second to late as his powerful hand dented the elevator doors. Clutching both of the doors, the masked man tore open the doors as he jumped down into the elevator shaft. Landing on top of his targets elevator, grabbing his knives, he tore his way into the elevator. Hearing the cries of his target as he cut through the metal like butter. Entering the elevator, the man cowered in a corner before the masked man grabbed by the throat and pinned him against the wall.

"Who do you think you are! Who are you!" He demanded as he gasped.

There was along silence before the masked man spoke. "I am the beginning of the end..."

"Wha-what?" He groaned in confusion.

"And I am the end of you..." He said as he dug his knife into his target ending his mission. The man struggled as blood gushed out of his stomach.

"I am your Dusk..." Dusk whispered as he let the man fall to the ground after retrieving his knife. His black coat now splattered with red as there were even dots of red in his raven black hair.

The doors opened as Dusk looks out to see an old woman with a mop as it fell to the floor. The old woman's mouth gaped open trembling as he saw the masked man with the bloody knives and the scary mask covered in blood.

Dusk tilted his head.

"Going Down?" he would ask before the janitor lady let out a terrible scream.

first off YAY WE HAVE SOMEONE WHO IS NOT A MUTANT AMAZING!!!

second you have all dialects set to your character which is good but I need to know what dialects your character was pretty much born with as you have the ability of 3 from your intelligence. So yea even if it is just French, Chinese, and English it will be fine.

You have to at least have the class option on your sheet saying none. but if i were you i would look at the character creation guide once more before I made a decision S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent.

Um yea what exactly is an esper. It is not on my list of Races so I need to know what it is.

Next does your character have super strength and speed because you mention it in your weakness section and you already have omni ligualism genius level intellect, and superhuman senses. I can only accept 3 bonus powers. or is that part of the curse.

You need a mentor so you can go on side missions I would suggest a S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent or higher up like Nick Fury.

You need to tell me if you are having no sidekicks because you could obtain one randomly without notice.

Finally I need an RP Sample so I can know how you will play your character. Make up a scenario and play it out. you can make your character as cool as you like but i just need to know how you will play the RP.

Oh yes... i was working on the Rp sample (Still not done yet) also I still want to add alittle more. As for what an Esper is, its just a fancy name for human that posses unnatural powers however, the word is more or less constantly related to Psychics and spiritualists but its a quite broad term.

An esper refers to an individual capable of telepathy and other similar paranormal abilities. The term was apparently coined by Alfred Bester in his 1950 short story "Oddy and Id"[1] and is derived from the abbreviation ESP for extrasensory perception.

As for the SHIELD Thing, he isnt really a member, he just does jobs for them. I actually just wanted a better way to tie Dusk better to the Marvel universe. If it bothers you, I can just say he's employed by another organization or something like that. And yes, i was actually thinking of what mentor.... Nick Fury of course came to mind of course but, I've been also thinking a few awesome ones like Blade who is marvel, which i found quite surprising, and Ghost rider (keep in mind i'm not a fan of Nicholas Cage's portrayal of him). But, I like it would have to be some one either Nick Fury or Blade.

On second thought, after reading your awesome addition to the classes. I think I'll make Dusk's class a SHIELD. However, Dusk as a character wouldn't really be the type to fully join... if thats okay to have as his class but, rather being an unofficial member. Perhaps, he could have made a conditional deal with SHIELD. The deal being, they give him missions and he gets them done they send him money and keep the government off of his back. I realize this sort of is asking a lot considering SHIELD wouldn't risk having their existence to be public knowledge however, they do hold collateral over Dusk as he's wanted and my mentor would have to be Nick Fury in this case XD

no it does not bother me one bit. I just assumed that he was either working with or pulling a wolverine and occasionally helps them out. (Wolverines not really a member.) as for ghost rider i am basing him on the comics for the most part. I would not like to use movies when using a character from comics. the only occasions where this will fly is if they have not been in a comic (ex: Baby Doll, and D.A.V.E from batman tv shows)

this will be acceptable as you could do it like Wolverine where he is not really he is an unnofficial member that is constantly helping them or asked to help them because he is a person of their interest and they would like to keep an eye on him. or you could do it like hawkeye and be a former member that left due to unspecified reasons. so yea you can do either of those or come up with another way to stiff the shield corperation but you will be at least an honorary member and you will be constantly watched by them is that okay. oh and picking Nick Fury as your mentor would be great however you will receive your orders via messages as Fury is currently in hiding.

While I read your character two things ran through my mind (specifically the RP and the history) the first was man I can do so much with the curse angle it is astounding. The second well you can see that in the video below.

Strengths:
Necelis has the ability to move physical matter just from using the electrical waves from her brain. Although many other mutants even the great Jean Grey needed to train this skill, she has a rather great knack for this skill set. The largest object she was able to sustain in mid air to date was a Dodge Grand Caravan. She also has the ability to send a psychic push toward her enemies.

Weaknesses:
Necelis despite her telekinetic powers has many incalculable weaknesses. She's frail, weak, limited, and nonathletic even for a human. In addition, she lacks proper training to be much use in combat. She has roughly half the stats of that of a regular hero and 1/6th of the normal abilities. In fact, she hasn't even reached second mutation yet either. In short, not only does she not want to fight, she can't fight and her shy personality makes her hesitate in crucial moments as well. Her naivety and innocence make her fall victim to many tricks.

Necelis is also a Mute. (Necelis= Silence)

She really has no weapon or any skills related to combat other than her telekinetic powers.

Personality:
Necelis is very shy even if she had the ability to talk, she would doubt she would use it very often. She grew up as a fully certified bookworm and your stereotypical cute studious, shy girl who hides behind a book. She mostly communicates with others using facial expressions and using her hands. she also have an undying love for music and poetry.

History:
Sephora grew up in a small town in North Dakota with her loving parents. She had a perfectly normal life in high school, she was just another shy music nerd who would stutter adorably. She had more than decent marks when it came to school as she was studious, organized and well disciplined as the teacher's pet. Sephora loved the violin at a young age, she had begged her parents for lessons the moment she saw one. So, they bought her a beautiful vintage Violin. However, her quiet life was about to come to an end when her parents were killed in a terrible car accident. Ever since then, she had never been able to utter the smallest word. The shock made her mute. This emotional trauma also triggered the long dormant x gene, she quickly realized that things were never going to be the same. Therefore, she moved out of her aunt's and uncle's place and enrolled into Professor Xavier's school for gifted children. Currently, she has stayed at the academy for a total of 2 years.

Interesting Fact: Dusk (Eric Chains) and her were friends long ago. Although that term is far too lenient as the two only really studied together and occasionally talk about what they read (before she became a mute). They weren't close but, they got along just fine.

Sample RP:
Sitting down onto the couch, she flipped open her favorite book, her eyes relaxed as she smiled. This was her favorite part. Necelis was sitting in the common room of her dormitory, she had woken up very early to read but, it was already the afternoon now. It was nice to have the room to herself while her roommate slept peacefully. Although Necelis didn't make much noise, she thought that the light would bother her. The girl reached to grab a bag of chips from her bag. The bag of chips opened on their own as the chips began floating in mid air. Necelis then released the book as it began to be stationary as well. Opening her mouth, a chip would float into her mouth she slowly bit down on it with a satisfying crunch. Curling up, she hugged her knees as her green eyes would be glued to the book as she munched on her chips.

1 = Um dude where are your NPC's for Dusk. If you do not want any then put in NPC's: None

2 = Necilis needs languages at least put in english.

3 = Necelis needs a weapons and fighting skill section even if it has nothing in it. I need to know that.

4 = her stats are too low she would get creamed by any villain that walks by her. She is supposed to have 24 points to work with.

5 = are you sure you want her to only have one power that can put you at a disadvantage. That is all I am saying on that.

Given what I have here I have to say I cannot accept either of your characters until you fill in these issues. So Dusks mission is postponed until you fix this.

1= Done, as I was making my second character I realized this would be better use for it :p
2= Yeah, I didnt' really think about it cause she cant really talk XD
3= It seemed a little repetitive...so I sort of skipped that sorry XD
4 & 5: Yeah I know, unlike most of the other heroes, i wanted to make her gradually get stronger. Plus, if you think about it she can get pretty far with just telekinesis and nothing else. You just need to make the right moves as of now she's a bit of a support character (not a side kick) so she usually has to fight with a group of people not one on one.

You see the lowest villain in the RP has 24 points as this is the standard for the RP considering at is the base number of points for basic skills. Ex Killer Moth has only 24 points and most of that is in speed and personality and even he would kill her easily if she did not have 24 points. so to keep your character alive it is required to have 24 points. they get 2 points every mission that they do maximum of 5 times so they gain about 10 more points over time. I am sorry to be such a pest but that is the rule.

No its no problem and Yeah i'm well aware of that but, I actually wanted to make her a weak character comparative to others. Its sort of odd that she has such a great personality and will power despite the fact she's socially awkward and shy.... and she's smart but, not like... genius smart.. well anyway, for now I'll let it be :/ So is she accepted? I already changed her stats XD

Personality also applies to intimidation and willpower applies to determination. meaning you can a shy character that people fear for various reasons and the willpower shows determination to not give up a fight plus willpower also prevents mind control.

She is accepted. She seems good for a support character. good job and Once again I am sorry for being a pain.
