A New Day Nyako: Finding The Path Home

((Ok for the prequills I am setting it up as a mini series where each issue represents the past of each member of the X-Men Xamples.))

Nyako has been squatting in an old toy store that has been abandoned for years. She has been there for about a week now but on this day she can hear a mutant hating riot in the nearby park. Suddenly nyako could hear someone entering the building saying loudly "Property Management! Any squatters should leave immediately!" Nyako could hear them talking to each other she could tell that there were 3 of them, 2 men and a woman. They begin searching the building looking for Nyako. They must know that a mutant is here as the 2 men have handguns.

((So now what Nyako looks like you are bieng kicked out to an anti mutant mob so what will nyako do with this))

Nyako could hear the riot outside, which she had been listening to with amusement of their hate. She knew the people were searching the store and figured it was time to leave, she laughed at them being able to catch her....one poof and she will be gone. She knew every secret outing in the building, some she made specifically for these sort of moments when the haters arrived for the hunt.

She was sitting in the upper part of the old building, she went to one of her spots where she would move aside some wood where the light shined through. "See yea, suckers...." She chuckled as she teleported out of the building and into the ally way, escaping the mob. She would cover herself in a large trent coat to cover her tail and physical mutant genes.

((Nice move now the fun begins))

As she dodged the 1st group of the mob someone from around the corner bumped into her as she rounded it. He would say "Agh get away from me mutant. I don't want you to infect me!" Just then several others from the group would start throwing rocks at Nyako only 2 rocks hitting for 1/2 damage each. One man (a black man) saying "Get out of here mutant Go back to San Francisco Where your kind belong!" Another a woman would then say "Yea why don't you go to your precious Utopia where the rest of you rats are hiding!" Nyako would soon be almost surrounded by the mob with her only way out being the road out of town. One of the men would try to attack Nyako with his fist missing as Nyako dodged ((Nightmare will need to tell me how she dodged. Man that teleport almost nothing can touch you lol.)) As he was drunk he fell over trying to punch Nyako and failing. One woman would say "You see that she hurt him!" while her husband would say "Lets teach this mutant her place in the world." yet another man (a very plump one) would then say "Yea! Lets quicken their extinction!" They would all approach more now ready to beat you up.

((Uh oh looks like you are in trouble. You needed to pass by 2 dudes one the group who was not paying attention to you and the other the guy you did not see which was harder to avoid. The unfortunate part was while you easily dodged the 1st group that 2nd guy got you. Considering how you had 2 chances of dodging each group this seemed fair. Plus you can easily just run down the road to freedom and escape these guys they wont chase you far as they were at a mutant hating rally.))

Nyako would twitch as a couple of rocks were thrown at her and try to keep from growing her claws, keeping herself calm, as the man tried to attack her she would step out of the way. "You guys really know nothing about mutants..." As she suddenly teleported from within the crowd and was already out on the road by now.

Nyako would begin wandering the road and see a poster on the sign that states "Utopia! A sanctuary for all mutants! Home Of Hope the mutant savior!" at that moment Nyako  would hear the words of one of the rioters again "Agh get away from me mutant. I don't want you to infect me!" it seemed familiar to her and then it hit her. At that moment she would remember a boy from the orphanage saying "Ugh Miss Holifield! The mutant touched me! Did she infect me?" Her consciousness would crash back to reality as a truck drove by her not coming near her but honked at her none the less. The truck would then stop and the guy would come out saying "You okay lady? Are you walking down this highway? I don't see a car. You looking for a ride? I can take you somewhere as far as I can. I'm on my way to San Francisco for business." The driver would look kind of overweight in blue denum overalls a blue trucker cap with blond hair and a toothpick in his mouth. He would wait for Nyako's answer.

Nyako would take her chances and hop into the vehicle with the truck driver. He didn't immediately judge her and she didn't care to question it right away, maybe he will notice her tail once in and kick her out. "Sure, lets get out of here."

As Nyako sat down in the truck as the Trucks driver looked her up to down then down to up. He would then say to Nyako "Given your appearance you must be one of those mutants I keep hearing about on the news. That is when I'm not hearing about Captain America or Iron Man saving the day. Well lets get going. Where exactly do you want me to drop you off. Not that I want you off of the truck quickly just I don't want to miss your stop. Names Bob Flaps by the way. What's your name?" Nyako would notice that the man was trying to be very nice. Bob would rev up the semi truck and get going still waiting on the answer to his questions with a smile on his face.

((This is going to be your time to relax Bob is nothing to fear. he is a nice guy   ))

Nyako smirked, her cat like fangs revealing a bit. "Yea...call me what you wish...I'm a mutant."Nyako chuckled a bit after hearing about Captain America and Iron Man, "Heh...of course ...illegal mutation... they get all the respect. I've heard about what the government does... Captain America was created as a super soldier am i right? And Iron Man...without his suit he has nothing. Just a norm looking for attention and fame."

She would sigh, "Just get me far away from these mobs... " She noticed she wasn't really looking at the man the entire time they were talking, as he asked her name she would finally look up. "Its Nyako."

Bob smiles when he hears Nyako's name and says "Nyako. That's a pretty name. Well I'm heading out to San Francisco. If you want I can drop you off there. See I have some cargo that needs to dropped off there. Mostly exported food. And San Francisco seems to be a nicer place in my opinion. I think you'll like it there." He would pay attention to the road again. A few minutes later he would without turning his head he would say "Sorry if I offended you. I did not mean to offend by referring to you as a mutant. I also did not mean to make it seem like your people are any less good for the world then Captain America or Iron Man. I just watch a lot of the news. My mama taught me to treat people as I would want to be treated. Whether thier Black, White, Asian, and even Mutants and I live by that." Returning his focus onto the road he would remain silent for a time. Trying not to say anything else that would offend Nyako. He would finally talk again a few minutes later and say "So where are you from? there must have been a reason why you left your home?"

((Poor Bob he managed to offend nyako unintentionally.))
