A New Day X-Men #1

Mount Wondagore is my birth place. no I was born on Asgard. I must find out why I remember Mount Wondagore. Why all these peoples memories reside in me.

Professor X grabs his head in pain. "Ugh . . . What was that. . . It seems familiar. Wait it cannot be. I must send a team there now."



Professor X then sends a massage to the X-Men that were still there as the rest of the X-Men are out stopping the multitude of crimes around the world. Professor X calls upon Cyclops, Colossus, Wolverine, Emma Frost, Beast, and Gambit. "Cyclops. I need You, Colossus, Wolverine, Emma, Beast, and Gambit collect the trainee X-Men we have and get to Mount Wondagore. This will be their final test to see if they are ready to be a full member of the X-Men. There have been massive earthquakes over there as of recently and Hope Summers has stolen the Blackbird and gone to investigate. Cable is already in pursuit and has taken the X-Copter. Do not worry. We have the X-Men Stratojet. Scott, Logan you both need to trust me."

Cyclops immediately runs to the rooms of the trainees and opens them up saying, "Get yourself ready! We have to go on a mission now! We will meet you in the Danger Room." and slamming the door shut and going to the next room. He goes to the trainees in this order Typhoon, Firefly, James Mizerski, and Shredder. These X-Men wait for you in the Danger Room.

As Wolverine got the message he came across Nyako in the streets attacked by two thugs. He then attacks and defeats them and says, "Come with me I do not have time to bring you to the Professor and I cant just leave you here. So your coming with me. Trust me it is for your own good."

((I would like to see your characters reactions and how they will get ready for a last minute mission that was just announced now. Oh and it is 10:00 am ))

((BTW Typhoon you are on Team Cyclops, Firefly you are on Team Wolverine, Nyako you are on Team Wolverine, James Mizerski is on Team Cyclops, and Shredder is on Team Wolverine. Those in Team Cyclops will live in Utopia after this mission and those on Team Wolverine will go to the Jean Grey School Of Higher Learning. This is because I had no idea the X-Men split into two teams recently. I am so sorry ))

James lifts his head in response to the shouting, but returns to sleep immediately after his door slams shut. thinking of how annoying that interruption was, his dresser slides in front of the door.

Nyako looked up at the man who was obviously a mutant like herself, she wiped a smear of blood off of her face and stood up from her half kneeling position. She smirked, revealing one of her fangs and her claws shrunk into smaller claws...not normal finger nails of a human being as they were retracting from within her fur covered skin. "I've been through worse...who are you anyway..?"

As Cyclops opens the door and slams it Firefly was carving a wooden doll since she makes wooden dolls and Marionettes in her free time. The slamming of the door startles her and she cuts her thumb which leaks glowing blue blood. She puts down her carving equipment and flies to the Danger Room paying no heed to the cut on her thumb.

((She will be bleeding when she gets there so this may starle others that go there and do not know she has glowing blue blood. She is a Glowstick. ))

Tyhpoon would jump out of bed quickly moving the covers back into place as they fell with the wind. He was a great morning person and was ready to actually go into the field. He would grab his droid and boot him up, then get his clothes and two katana. Seems strange to not use a gun with all this tech, but they are a great weapon of choice especially against the more close competition. He would run out without saying a word to the danger room he was told to go to. The little droid was a little startled from the rapid motion of being turned on while typhoon was running.

*murmuring* God dammit shut up. James said as he pulled a pillow over his head. Adam always was too loud.

Shuriken was awake already sipping his coffee he got earlier. He looks outside to see that there were frequent attacks happening outside. "Crap, It is like a war zone outside. Glad I got my coffee while I could because it looks like I am not getting another one."

Shuriken would get his leather jacket and his Katana. "Guess I will always have a piece of you with me eh mother." He would walk calmly to the Danger Room with his sword strapped to his back and his hands in his pockets.

(Nyako)

Wolverine would look at her as he walked her to Graymalkin Industries. "They call me Wolverine, But my friends call me Logan. I lead the X-Men. At least Half of them. They are good people to be with. Besides I am not leaving you out here when all hell has broken loose. It has been like this since that crap happened 3 days ago. It is as if the law has died with them."

((Yes I am laying this on pretty thick but the missing people really left an impact on most of the Marvel Universe and without them crime is at least trying to run rampant thinking that they are unable to be stopped now that these heroes are gone. So if you oppose I have to say that this is a major plot point as of now so I am sorry.)

(The Rest)

As the students reach the danger room (Excluding James) Cyclops looks for James and says, "Where is James. Oh screw it. Firefly go get James and bring him here. I do not have time for his antics today."

The rest of the team except for Wolverine and Nyako are in the Danger Room Waiting.

((Mwahahahahahahaha good luck waking James up Firefly. ))

Typhoon would look confused, and it was because he couldn't figure why any mutant wouldn't want a chance like this, but i guess he wasn't the common mutant either...

"So Clops. Is this about whatever was going on 3 days ago? I may not leave the school often but that news is hard to miss."

Nyako scratched her head as she thought about his name, Wolverine...she heard this name before and she definitely knew of the X-men.
"I've heard of you guys, your the reason people should love mutants! Not the other way around..." She said as she put her hands on her hips, still following.

Firefly looks at Cyclops and says, "What do I look like his mommy. Why should I have to go." She waits for his response.

Typhoon would laugh at Firefly's response, he didn't know her too well, but he at least knew this conversation was going downhill, "Why worry? Doesn't that James guy teleport or something? I'm sure he'll be half a sec."

Shuriken looks at the squabbling allies and says "Well we sure are one big happy family aren't we. Sometimes I think I was better off on my own." Shuriken was smirking at what he said.

(Nyako)

Wolverine would look at Nyako with a smile and say while walking, "Well it seems not everyone shares your opinion kid. As the Professor told me, "Some people will hate us no matter what we do, but it is our job to try to sway their opinion." I did not understand how we could do that at first until we convinced Senator Kelly." They approach Graymalkin Industries and Wolverine turns to her and says "Well kid this is it. The place we X-Men stay when we are not taking down the creeps around the world." Wolverine would walk her in.

(The Rest)

Cyclops would look at Typhoon angrily. "That is none of your business Typhoon but you are right. If you look outside today you may see the streets under siege because several of our heroes are gone, and we do not know if they will ever come back. Now every Super Villain thinks that they have a free pass to do whatever they want because they think that just because there is no Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, Iron Man, or Hulk that nothing can stop them well they are wrong! We are here, other Super Heroes are out there. As long as we continue fighting the enemy will not win!" Cyclops then turns to Firefly and says, "Mother or not I gave you a direct order and you will follow it because I am your superior. Got it!" Cyclops would turn to Shuriken "Like it or not you are a part of this team. If you do not like it, you can leave!" he says as he points his finger towards the door. Cyclops then turns his back waiting for Firefly to get James. "Oh and Typhoon. The name is Cyclops. Get it right next time."

((Yea Cyclops is still a douche just so you know ))

Half awake due to the constant disturbances going on outside, James gets dressed, heads down to the kitchen. He begins preparing a bowl of grapes while cursing to himself about how overpopulated this building is.

Nyako nodded, not really saying much as she listened to his words...she was basically being forced into a new location, but not fighting him off or caring to do anything about it. She was planning on giving this place a chance, maybe get the cops off her back for a while when she has a real place to stay.

As he walked her into the school doors, their were plenty of kids both young and some much older...some not even kids anymore. It reminded her much of her old orphanage, but much more advanced, beautiful and cared for, and the people their...were actually nice.

She didn't want to say anything, to really show how excited this place makes her... who knows, she may end up hating it in the end anyway.

Firefly says, "Sheesh . . . Someone got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning." She quickly flies off before Cyclops could yell at her again. In the hallway she notices her thumb bleeding and uses her light to heal it. She flies over to James's room and knocks. When he does not answer she peeks in the doors keyhole. Seeing nothing she tries to open the door but when that fails she shrinks down and enters the room. Seeing that he is not there she leaves the room, returns to her normal size and begins to start looking around the mansion. She begins thinking as hard as she can "Cyclops is a DOUCHE!!!"

((ooh Cyclops yelled at me. ))

james headed out of the kitchen and down the hall with his grapes and noticed wolverine and nyako behind him. hey Logan. Who's your friend? he said not even glancing at the two.

((this must catch nyako by surprise because he is blind folded))

Typhoon would smirk at Cyclops. 'Wow what a hard case...' he thought as he waited for firefly to return with the others. He then noticed something on the ground. It was a small blue spot, "Looks like someone cut themselves..." Typhoon would say looking at the stain. It was obviously left by Firefly, but was it actually blood? Or something else? Hopefully it was nothing to worry about.

Shuriken would look at Typhoon and say "Wasn't my fault my scales are on me as you can see. Who's blood is it anyways." He would look at Typhoon curious to know what had happened.

(Nyako and James)

Wolverine would look at James and say, "Well she is not really my friend yet but hopefully that will change. I am showing her around the facility while I am going to the Danger Room. Her name is Nyako. If she would like she could come and join our mission I have seen her fight and she is pretty good. Besides leaving her by herself in here would be as Cyclops would say "Irresponsible" so yea I am not letting her be left alone so she can get lost." Wolverine would then look at James and say "Hey aren't you supposed to be going to the Danger Room as well. I guess Cyclops dropped the ball and forgot to tell you to go there didn't he. Well I guess I am going to have to fill in for him and get you there myself." Wolverine would then grab James by the arm and begin dragging him to the Danger Room.

(Firefly)

Firefly wanders the halls and eventually comes across James being dragged by Wolverine with an new girl following behind.

(Typhoon and Shuriken)

Cyclops getting irritated by waiting overhears Typhoons and Shuriken's talk and looks at what they found. Realizing that it was Firefly's blood from seeing the reports on her physyology he says "It looks like Firefly is hurt. Beast since you are with us for now why don't you get some bandages for firefly when she gets back." Beast retorts "Actually Firefly has the ability to heal herself and others using a special illumination that her blood projects through her skin. Did you not read my synopsis on her powers in that other document I gave you." Beast at Cyclops sarcastically. Cyclops says, "Yea sarcasm is really the thing we need right now Beast when the world in under siege. Brilliant." Cyclops and Beast just stare at each other angrily.

Nyako became quite puzzled, well it is a school full of mutants... why should I question this kids abilities to see behind his back? She thought to herself as she followed Wolverine as he dragged the kid. "So just what mission is this that your dragging us along to?" She chuckled with the sudden pun of being "dragged". "And thanks for the compliment... but you could of caught me on a better day..." She than would mutter, "Damn thugs found a way around my moves..." People in the city both good and bad were becoming more familiar with her each day, she was becoming more popular as not a hero or villain...just a mutant trying to make it through the world. And for some reason she just couldn't understand why some of these people were after her.

Firefly flies up to James and says, "You know I'm your new babysitter. Cyclops is being a real creep." She then looks at Wolverine and says, "Back already. Thought we wouldn't see you for at least another week." She then looks at the new girl. "Hi the names Firefly. Don't mind me my bark is worse than my bite." the then flies a little bit ahead and says, "Well come on guys or Cyclops will bite my head off again."

Nyako laughs, "I see.." She tried not to let her ego show, but found that hard to take seriously with a fairy flying above her...

Get off me man! I can walk by myself James shouted at Logan angrily. He opens a porta to the danger room to cut the journey short. Mornin Scott, Adam, Kira.
